Summary

It’s near a month since I come to Qingdao and I have a general idea about our company. Having made some good friends I found there are so many good officers in our company that I should learn more to catch up with them. Now my English is still too poor to perfectly express all things I want to say. I think it is a good practise for me to learn English so I decided to write this summary in English. Though there will be so many mistakes, I had done my best. Please point all the mistakes then I will rewrite them rightly soon.

     Now the general manager, Mr.Jiang let me to start to learn steel flange business. In the past days Mr.Lou and I had found out some important messages from books and internet. We start to know something about flanges, such as the norms, the material, the schedule rate as well as some other technical standards. But we found it was too hard for us to find a custmer establishing a long-term trade relation. Now the messages on internet about buying flanges are quite few. It seems that even when the messages on internet were found by us and we tried to contant with the custmers, maybe there had been so many letters and faxes sent to the custmers from the other trade companies in China or abroad before us. How to get the messages about demand of flanges in time is the most important to us. Mr.Luo told me there were some ways to find custmers: to be introduced by friends, to be found on internet, to be found by attended to fairs. However none could be used now expect the second way and the disadvantages about it was mentioned at the front parts of this section. Now the only job I can do is study English and prefessional knowledges that to get ready for the business in future.

    At last I tell my experience about English study. I never be afraid of writing since I study English. But I am quite poor in reading and speaking. The number of English words I can remember is too few to be uesd easily. It seems that my based English is quite poor and I should spend more time and pay more attentions on it . Mr.Jiang told me to find out the English lesson books in junior school and read them carefully. Now I have collected all junior school English lesson books and read some of them over, the others are reading everyday. The most difficult thing is remembering words because it costs too much time. I have only way to remember all the words I read, writing and reading at last remember them. It seems not clever but I can not find out another way easier.
